I've spent my career on both sides of finance. I've helped manage billions in assets and taught the next generation of finance professionals. Along the way, I noticed something troubling: the knowledge that helps people build real wealth was locked behind expensive degrees and industry gatekeepers.
That's why I created Foresight Finance Academy. I believe everyone deserves access to the same quality of financial education I provide to my students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, one of the top 20 undergraduate business programs in the country.
Before becoming an educator, I spent more than a decade in the investment industry, eventually leading portfolio construction and strategy for a top-25 mutual fund company managing over $100 billion. I've seen firsthand how institutional investors think, and I'm passionate about translating that knowledge into lessons anyone can understand and apply.
Teaching is what I love most. Whether in a university classroom or through this Academy, there's nothing more rewarding than watching complex concepts click for someone and seeing them gain confidence in their financial decisions. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you build the knowledge you need. No jargon, no gatekeeping, just clear and practical education.
